Term 3 for 2020 is from July 21- Sept 8th.
The course cost for an 8 week term is $170.
This class is suitable for any mum from 6 weeks postpartum. A daytime class so that you can bring baby with you. These classes are aimed at teaching you how to strengthen your core and pelvic floor and also teaching techniques of lifting, posture and relaxation. This class is ideal if you are finding that you leak if you cough or sneeze or run and jump! Back pain and pelvic pain after child birth can be reduced with strengthening your core and improving your posture. This programme is also a good stepping stone into other exercise. Get your core strong before getting back into running or other high impact exercise and you will be less likely to have other injuries. In this class you will also be assessed to see if you have abdominal separation and advised with exercises accordingly.
Dress in loose, comfortable clothing and bring a mat for your baby to lie on.
All classes are 45 minute sessions with a maximum of 10 people per class. All instructors are qualified physiotherapists.
