Term 4 2025: Get in contact if you are interested. The pregnancy class will be held at 7.10pm on Tuesday evenings, at St Martins Presbyterian Church (43 St Martins Road), 14th October – 2nd of December.
The cost for the 8 week term is $170, or 4 weeks for $86
Come and join a class where you will be closely monitored by a health professional and meet other fitness minded mums-to-be. Prepare for labour with physio exercises to music on a Swiss Ball and on the floor.
The pregnancy Swiss ball class runs for 45 minutes, starting with a light warm up, followed by varied exercises to increase your fitness, strengthen your pelvic floor muscles and improve your general trunk strength, upper limb and lower limb strength in preparation for labour. The class exercises will help you develop stamina, reduce your chances of developing pregnancy back pain and improve your ability to recover from your labour.
The stretches will help to improve your flexibility and the relaxation component will teach you how to listen to your body in preparation for labour.
- Please bring your own swiss ball, and if you like a towel and a water bottle.
- This class is suitable for any woman who is at least 12 weeks pregnant.
